Why Contact JEC?
When you call our oilfield service dispatch, you aren’t just talking to a machine. You’re talking to professionals who understand the urgency of a rig-standby situation.
- Fast Mobilization: We maintain our fleet to be “road-ready” at a moment’s notice.
- Clear Communication: We provide accurate ETAs and transparent pricing.
- Certified Crews: Every crew dispatched is fully compliant with ISN, DISA, and PEC safety standards.
What is the difference between EMI Tubing scanning and Hydrostatic testing?
EMI (Electromagnetic Induction) Scanning is a diagnostic tool used to find structural flaws like pits, cracks, and wall thinning in the pipe body. Hydrostatic Testing is a pressure test used to verify that the connections and the pipe body are leak-free. For maximum wellbore integrity, we recommend performing both: EMI to find hidden wear and Hydro to confirm pressure seals.
Can you scan tubing with ESP cables or CT lines attached?
Yes. JEC Tubing Testers specializes in EMI Tubing scanning with “cable and cap” configurations. Our equipment is designed to accurately inspect the pipe body without interference from ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) cables, CT (Capillary) lines, or Gas Lift equipment.
What sizes of tubing can JEC inspect?
We provide full-service inspection and handling for all standard oilfield tubing sizes, specifically ranging from 2-3/8″ through 4-1/2″.
Why should I use a Laydown Machine instead of a traditional crane or winch?
Safety and asset protection. Our Pipe Laydown Machine uses a hydraulic pipe grabber that eliminates the need for manual handling in the “Red Zone.” This prevents crushed fingers and back injuries while also protecting your tubing threads from being dragged or slammed, which often happens with less precise methods.
Is JEC Tubing Testers safety-certified for major operators?
Absolutely. We maintain 100% compliance with the industry’s strictest clearinghouses, including ISNetworld (ISN), DISA, PEC Safety, and TEAM. Our crews arrive on-site fully vetted and ready to meet your company’s safety protocols.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency dispatch?
Yes. We understand that rig time is expensive. Our dispatch is available 24/7 to mobilize crews for EMI scanning, hydro testing, or laydown services
